Technology and the occasional justified rant

Lotusphere Comes To Warrington

Today marks the start of Lotusphere 2011 in Orlando, Florida. Thousands of enlightened customers and Business Partners, plus some of the competition (hi Lewis), are attending and will hear the latest announcements. Normally I would live-blog the opening session and give you the updates as they happen, but this year I’m not attending. If you’re following the right people on Twitter I’m sure you’ll be able to get the news, plus announcements will be made at the Lotus web site.

Even before Lotusphere started, we started looking ahead to the annual Lotusphere Comes To You events. We (IBM) will be running events in London and Edinburgh, and once again we’re pleased to announce that IBM Premier Partner Polymorph will be running the North-of-England event. The web site is up and running, and you’ll be able to register for the event and view the agenda shortly after the main Lotusphere event.

See you in Warrington (unless you’re coming to one of the other events, in which case I’ll see you there).

…works for Microsoft as a Global Account Technology Strategist. In a former life he worked for the Lotus brand within IBM for many years. Married with one daughter and two dogs, lives in Camberley (Surrey, England), plays the guitar to a mediocre standard, and runs 10 kms and half marathons at an average speed. That’s it really.

Hi Darren, That is good news but the registration page is not working on site. Displaying an error 500 message.

Hi Paul… yep, I pointed that out to Polymorph. Registration isn’t open yet, but it would be better going to a ‘come back soon’ message rather than an error.
